Speaking of school bands and reefer, one of the contenders at a battle of the bands night at my Catholic high school ended their set with the singer yelling, "SMOKE A FUCKING JOINT!" repeatedly into the mic. They were disqualified but they won the hearts of the room.

I've been to the top of Mt Fuji! It was a fun climb! dawn was amazing, from the top! I ran and skied down the volcanic sands on the way. It was a fun day!

Mayuko,your story reminded me of the time I went to an outdoors event at the end of October, a 20th anniversary of a rave type of party I used to go to. It was the first time in 10 yrs for me. All night in the midst of a powerful typhoon, wind blowing & raining like crazy. everyone wearing rain gear, mist, and smoke and you could barely make out peoples faces... Don't want to do that often, but boy that was fun.

Recalling how the Gregorian/Western chanting in the ages-ago "Sadeness Pt. 1" by Enigma was such a good complement to the beats laid down behind them. (Enigma's sound got copied all to hell in the HW Bush era and beyond but back then it was fairly new.)
