What's on offer at the Theme Park's concession stand today? I feeling a bit peckish.

I just scarfed down a quiche and salad.....

Esurient? Maybe some runny Camembert would do.

Gary Numan, it's been a while!

The way they are handling the records make this vinyl fan cringe!
(didn't do much better at that age myself, though)
Hi all!

I had a warm pasta salad w/ greens yesterday. I wonder what should I make today.....

When I was 4, I used my lemon scented marker to color in "The Beatles" on my dad's White Album. My lightly slapped me. I'd probably be tempted to do the same if I had a kid to that to mine (well, actually, that's white album I have today).

Parq:

Why can't they be like we were, perfect in every way?
Avatar 12:18pm
βrian:

And I wonder whose record that is on the back wall.

@Parq, hahaha!

You've seen as many shows in the week as I have in the last 15 months.
  12:26pm
queems:

oh man i'd way rather sit
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:27pm
Adrian in London:

OOf, I'm so over standing. Especially since there's always some 8ft giant right in front of me no matter where I stand.
Avatar 12:27pm
northguineahills:

That's changing though, There's usually at least one decent show around here once a week.

I prefer to lay down...and bring my own sleeping bag.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm
Parq:

Man, I love Gillian Welch's voice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm
Meghan:

I find sitting concerts to be less energy, to both the artist and audience. Though, I do agree with the tall people sentiment. Though sitting on Monday I had a fat head in front of me the whole time that I had to try to peer past.....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:30pm
doctorjazz:

Really pretty! (this Welch track)
(Went to see Dear Evan Hansen this week, man, that's a GREAT show!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:31pm
Adrian in London:

@Meghan I once sat behind Brian May of Queen at a pantomime and had to keep moving in my seat to look past his HUGE hairdo
Avatar 12:32pm

Belly? I love this song!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:32pm
Meghan:

hahahah.... Now THAT is a big head!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm
Parq:

Great set. By the way, it seems that Gillian Welch has a pretty interesting personal back-story. Check her Wikipedia page, and also a New Yorker article cited at fn. 1 of the wiki page.

Whence the standing discussion?
  12:45pm
queems:

man everyone loves these two but i just can't get into it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm
Meghan:

Too slow? Their voices?
  12:49pm
queems:

i think a little of both- it's like they are leaving a bar together after drinking a lot and they're just slurring at each other
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:50pm
Meghan:

ha.... I guess I like that sound.... I like them individually, but I am not a fan of Kurt Vile's band War on Drugs. That did nothing for me.
  12:52pm
queems:

see, i'm the opposite! i really like what i have heard from war on drugs. different strokes and all
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:25pm

Aw man, I'm so jealous - by the time I found out about the Mountain Goats show here in JC, it was sold out.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:29pm

It's a great venue for shows. My friends from Ought were really impressed with the entire experience

I'm a sucker for really minimal, single-instrument moments if they're done compellingly - I can listen to Young Marble Giants all day.
