Yes Fuzzy, my memory was a little fuzzy (pardon the pun). That's the session where they cooked up "Fame," too, I believe. One of the benefits of John living in NY and somebody like David would call and say, "Hey, I'm recording, come on down!"

I saw Petty when a very young Lenny Kravitz debut record Let love rule was out. he was better than i thought and Petty blew my socks off. Honestly Herioin is not nearly as bad for your organs as cocain or speed. But dosages are very important and never controlled in a rock and roll world ... ahh live fast, amazing, and die sorta old but not really. I'd take that life if I could go again.

REga makes amazing turntables I have a Pro-Ject table, I got it in 2015 Euro Turtable of year. It was very reasonable. Sounds great. I also have a sweet Chrome Magnus tube amp by Rogue. Its the bees knees.. AudioPhile Talk :)

I have a Hegel H80 amplifier, their bottom-of-the-line amp. A Danish company, I believe. Like the turntable, it's very minimalist in design and I love it. The audio guy told me to just leave it turned on all the time, it's actually better to have it warmed up. That was a new one on me.
