Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:07pm weinstein:

I'm all for timeless space. Also spaceless time.

Heya Kenzo and others of your ilk.
Avatar 5:09pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Hi, james, steve, fred, weinstein, and Carmichael! You're welcome to undo or recombine
Avatar 5:09pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

"Audio of people playing Dungeons & Dragons (D&D, AD&D), live"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:13pm fred:

I hope it held up well to your ears. I have a very fond memory of it (I mean the Paris show, not the D&D)
Avatar 5:18pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

My note says it was my favorite of that tour. Still wonder what it will be like to bring it out to a radio environment like this. Still not online!
Avatar 5:21pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

Oh, we're hearing the show about pancakes
Avatar 5:22pm geezerette:

It's working...dream state achieved.
Avatar 5:23pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

geezerette, you're fading in and out

~~~~~
There are three characteristic ways in which the energy manifests – Dang, Rolpa, and Tsal.
Dang is the energy in which ‘internal’ and ‘external’ are not divided from that which manifests. It is symbolised by the crystal sphere which becomes the colour of whatever it is placed upon.
Rolpa is the energy which manifests internally as vision. It is symbolised by the mirror. The image of the reflection always appears as if it is inside the mirror.
Tsal is externally manifested energy which radiates. It is symbolised by the refractive capacity of the faceted crystal. For a realised being, this energy is inseparable in its manifestation from the dimension of manifest reality. Dang, Rolpa, and Tsal are not divided.
Avatar 5:45pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
dang
Avatar 5:45pm steve:
pancake talk now this is what i came here for
Avatar 5:46pm steve:
i love a good pancake
Avatar 5:46pm steve:
the band the pancakes is good
Avatar 5:46pm Carmichael:
I have never felt so Rolpa as I do now.
Avatar 5:46pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
finally pancake happened to me
Avatar 5:47pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Hi Steve, and possibilitywaves!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:48pm listener james from westwood:
Good to hear the show is a welcoming space for cyborgs!
Avatar 5:49pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
ooh I missed that
Avatar 5:50pm geezerette:
sparkling pancake harbingers nest in maple trees.
Avatar 5:50pm geezerette:
it's a fact.
Avatar 5:52pm geezerette:
they sing a syrupy song.
Avatar 5:52pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
more butter? more syrup? you like? I like
Avatar 5:56pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
oh here comes the first ending. Goodbye soon, 2005!
Avatar 5:58pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Hello 2004, such an innocent time
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:58pm listener james from westwood:
St. Matthew's Passion, IIRC, right here?
Avatar 5:58pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
indeed, listener james
Avatar 5:59pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:59pm listener james from westwood:
Avatar 5:59pm Carmichael:
We seem to be going backwards ...
Avatar 6:00pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Right, slow motion fire?
Avatar 6:00pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Carmichael: We will eventually reach the beginning
Avatar 6:00pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
And in THX-1138, of course
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:02pm Rich in Washington:
What's wrong?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:02pm Rich in Washington:
Never mind
Moveable fluctuate undulate flicker flutter
Avatar 6:03pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Hi, Rich!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:04pm listener james from westwood:
Ah, one of my favorite Kenzo loops!
Avatar 6:04pm geezerette:
instructions or observations? both?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:04pm Rich in Washington:
stupid work meetings made me miss the 1st half.
Avatar 6:05pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Taken over by namesake loop
Avatar 6:05pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
@Rich: Go back for it! So so dreamy, gosh
Avatar 6:05pm Carmichael:
The first whole, actually. You missed all of 2005.
Avatar 6:05pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
I've gotta clicky star it
Avatar 6:07pm geezerette:
sounds like a pork eclipse now.
Avatar 6:08pm geezerette:
...ham is good with pancakes & syrup.
Avatar 6:09pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
oh I wonder if the pancake conversation continued in 2004
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:10pm listener james from westwood:
I know the focus is on Rummy bollixing the Shanksville part, but I also keep hearing "death hall in Mosul" vs. "mess hall." Maybe too much aspartame for him that day.
Avatar 6:10pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Me too
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11pm listener james from westwood:
Whole fucking country of Iraq was a death hall in 2005, so not inaccurate.
Avatar 6:11pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
good thing that's all behind us
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11pm listener james from westwood:
(Or 2004, he said, spotting the show date.)
Avatar 6:12pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
I may have been using a future sample
Avatar 6:12pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
I'm just waiting for the cows
Avatar 6:13pm geezerette:
Reality is so surreal now that this show is clearer than the news.
I love cows.
Avatar 6:15pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
So quaint, calling them "people." Pols would be more inflammatory and dehumanizing today, I think.
Avatar 6:17pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
so, this is scary. the first half didn't prepare me for this.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:17pm listener james from westwood:
It's always an exercise in cognitive dissonance to look at the Bush camarilla as "good" compared to the current litterbox, but I don't know how to end this sentence.
Avatar 6:18pm Carmichael:
2004 was waaaay different ...
Avatar 6:18pm geezerette:
In the 20th C. school desks had magical properties. Children kneeling under them could survive a nuclear attack! Isn't that wonderful?
Avatar 6:19pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Speaking of which, and seeing as which direction the audio has turned today, I finally finished "Threads." Really brutal. (Early 80's BBC film attempting to portray the after effects of nuclear holocaust in a realistic, unsanitized way.)
Avatar 6:20pm geezerette:
If I listen any longer I might cry.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20pm listener james from westwood:
Some Donkey Kong buried in that mix.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:21pm listener james from westwood:
It's the board with those springy things and the elevators. Ah, my misspent youth. And quarters.
Avatar 6:21pm geezerette:
Ken, where did you find that film?
Avatar 6:21pm Carmichael:
Sounds like Missile Command also, or maybe Galaga.
Avatar 6:22pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
At least there aren't bears. There's a show a little like this one that has a lot of bears that I actually can't listen to. On the surface that might be a gentler show. (One Step Closer, from 3 months before this. lastever.org...)
Avatar 6:22pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Oh, somewhere online, where all movies are
Avatar 6:23pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Those springy things were really noisy
Avatar 6:23pm geezerette:
Dang. Thank You.
Avatar 6:24pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
I tried to play Ms. Pac Man on someone's stand-up arcade MAME thingy recently, but it had an 8-way joystick, which makes these games unplayable. New people trying it out will misunderstand!
Avatar 6:24pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Tsal!
Avatar 6:33pm Carmichael:
Defender is my arcade game of choice.
Avatar 6:33pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Reverse! Love those Williams games
Avatar 6:34pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
I wonder how badly the two-way joystick in that would translate to the 8-way on the emulator machine
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:39pm listener james from westwood:
Oooh, there's a track on the "Pi" soundtrack that uses Defender samples. I think it's Aphex Twin, "Bucephalus Bouncing Ball."
Avatar 6:39pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
I didn't notice that. P.S. Black Swan was pretty good
Avatar 6:42pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
listener james, is this the loop you meant you liked?
Avatar 6:45pm Carmichael:
Really, LJFW?? I shall go look for a listen!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:47pm listener james from westwood:
If you're talking about the, if I'm correct, Rick Springfield, then yes indeed! (The 80s-ish one that sounds like a second cousin to the also-excellent "Lawyers in Love" loop.)
Avatar 6:48pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
We're mostly hearing the 38 Special loop
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:51pm listener james from westwood:
.38 Special! There we are! They occupy a similar spot in my mental index.
Avatar 6:52pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
What if I didn't want to say goodbye? Goodbye?
Avatar 6:52pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
I replayed a show that used a Rick Springfield loop a few weeks ago here
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:53pm listener james from westwood:
@Carmichael: www.youtube.com... for your later delectation.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54pm listener james from westwood:
Thanks, Kenzo!
Avatar 6:55pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
I miss how happy I felt during the 2005 half!
Avatar 6:55pm steve:
later Kenzo my feedback is i like your show
Avatar 6:55pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
At least we have cows
Avatar 6:55pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Thank you, steve!
Avatar 6:57pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Thanks listener james from westwood, fred, weinstein, Carmichael, geezerette, possibilitywaves, Rich in Washington, steve, and rummy
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:57pm Rich in Washington:
Thanks, Kenzo! That was dreamy!
Avatar 6:58pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
Glad to be a supporter of wakelessness
Avatar 6:59pm Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):
