piston engines are way more efficient than the wankel was. also the wankel had seal failures because some parts of the engine got really hot while others remained cool because combustion only happened at one spot in the engine. suzuki put it a wankel in a motorcycle for a couple of years and it was the same story.

Saw James Chance at New wave new years at Sunrise musical theatre 1970 or 80 something. Local bands the eat and the Cichlids were also on the bill. Very small turnout for such a large venue. I would guess 100 people or less.
