The good times that made us laugh, outweighed the bad.
I thought we'd get to see forever, but forever has blown away.
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday

I'll resist full on mawkish mode, but Faye, you're the best and will be sorely missed.

Japan? It was a wonderful country when my wife and I got married there 30 years
Amazing culture and beautiful gardens. Warm, fresh sake is a thing few Western folk will ever
get to enjoy.
We could all learn a few things from Japan. Like dedication to one's craft (which would be music, in Faye's case!)
Ever read Fallow's "More Like Us?" I don't know how one can approach understanding that unique place without living there for at least a year.
Go for it Faye!

Forgiveness Please!
Locals were very sweetly giving us gifts (including phone cards and elaborate dolls in glass cases)
It was "Renge Matsu" Festival, and the whole town was drunk. Very much like Westfield Wisconsin
during their Beer and Bratz thing in my youth.
Sigh...
