	2:12pm The Oscar: @Jeff Totally! As a kid, I was mostly aware of Kiss through comics and action figures, and always assumed they were hardcore metal, or at least something like Alice Cooper. It made zero sense to me when I learned they were the band that did "Rock & Roll All Nite."

When we were kids and saw Kiss we basically expected them to sound like we eventually found Slayer to sound like years later. Once, he spied Alternative TV's recent release, Vibing Up the Senile Man. Grabbed a copy and brought it to the counter, where he said to an unsuspecting clerk, "I'll take a dozen of these."
