The Old Codger remembers the day the music died. If only he had perished with it.

Codge! I might be your oldest fan. But since I'm only 65, that is unlikely. I have been listening to you for 28 minutes now. Loved the show for years and it a special occasion. Plus we all know you're really Ken Friedman.

Listener Robert:

You need a separate Kickstarter for a billboard for WMFU on Route 206. To be safe, it should be northbound on the north side of the hill north of Byram; reception's pretty solid from there north, at least in mono -- and mono's all you'd be concerned about with 78s, I think.

howdy geezerette!

BronwynB:

this is a nice soundtrack for my sisyphean task of reformatting all my screenplays because my screenwriting program decided to flame out and die so i have to painstakingly reconstruct every goddamn script
Avatar 8:35pm
BronwynB:

indeed, evil IS going on.

Bronwyn, why didn’t you hire a “Gal Friday” to deal with it?
Avatar 8:42pm

I have some Wolfschmidt vodka & nonfat dry milk. Looks like I have a new recipe to try out.
Avatar 8:48pm
BronwynB:

@geezerette: i do have a digital copy but the problem is i have to go all through all of them and reformat them in screenplay format bc when i copy pasted them into my new screenwriting program the format went all out of whack, and screenplays have to be formatted very specifically (unfortunately)
Avatar 8:48pm
BronwynB:

@Jake: i AM a gal friday
Avatar 8:54pm
geezerette:

Well Bronwyn, a drag for sure but do-able at least!
  8:55pm
Listener Robert:

Would a new copy of the screenwriting program not read the files?
Avatar 8:56pm
BronwynB:

the problem is my ex-screenwriting program no longer allows you to save the files so i had to copy paste into the new one
Avatar 8:57pm

Too bad this program isn't archived. Courtney said his programs cannot be heard after the broadcast. They are only heard once. That’s what he said. I heard him. Once.
