,,,chemical poisons added to the breathable natural environment by means of military aircraft spray will help complete a 100% mind control process if the biosphere can hold up in the mean time.

Michael 98145:

public access tv seems to be mostly consumed by proselytizing talking heads
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:54pm
Kali G:

BronwynB; the Krishna's are nice to you in the park because they want to basically convert you, and once your hooked, the niceness fades into hard work called service to the Lord, while no drinking alcohol or coffee, eating meat, onions or mushrooms, and no sex without creating children. It's a bait and switch.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:55pm
Sebastian:

no onions? what the hell?
  6:55pm
judy from croton:

I wirked across the street from The New Yorker Hitel when Moon iwned it and all those couples got married in a mass wedding.
Then presumably went to the Hotel to pray.

@Kali G: NO MUSHROOMS!?!?!? Damn, I am definitely not joining the Krishnas.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:57pm

That must be why asafoetida is used in place of onions in certain recipes.

Sebastion, certain edible plants that grow under the ground and dark damp environments are considered food in the mode of ignorance, considered tasmasic.

must be a vampiric cult
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59pm
Kali G:

BronwynB: I know, imagine your pizza without garlic, onions and mushrooms! I was once a Hare Krsna, called Gaudiya Vaisnavism, not exactly something I yell with gless, but I am a child of the 60's, it seemed really alternative and culturally exotic, but alas, it was a cult.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:59pm
Sebastian:

aw, it's over already? Thank you Micah, great show!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:01pm
Michael 98145:

i did like reading the Bhagavad-Gita
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:05pm
Kali G:

Michael, the Bhagavad-Gita is a classic book with mythic wisdom, but the interpretation by Prabhupada, the founder of the Hare Krishna movement is wack, totally sexist, racist and triball, basically a fundamentalist Hindu cult.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:07pm
Michael 98145:

yes. i remember them trying to sell copies to whoever would stop.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09pm
Kali G:

Micah, thanks for mining the underbelly of cults to find the interesting music, the Hare Krishna's have a plethora of musical styles that have been recorded and out there to play, which I think you are already aware of, anyway, thanks for putting in the hard work in putting together a great show.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:13pm
Kali G:

Micheal, in Krishna Land, it is called book distribution, they take prostylization very seriously, they count every book sold or given away, considering them Bhakti (Love) bombs that will eventually bring people back to the only true and highest religion known to humankind. Devotees compete to see who can distribute the most books and bring in the most money. It had it's hey day in the late 70's till the late 90's. Things have gone downhill for them since them due to Guru's falling down into what they call Maya, child abuse and criminal activity in certain temples. It is pretty much now a home for Indian emigre's, though certain Western people are still turned on to it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:18pm
Kali G:

Goodnight, sleep tight, keep your mind open and stay free from those who say they have all the answers, but am really looking forward to the show next week!

Founder of DISSECTION killed himself in a ritual suicide a few years ago. Members of the dissolved band joined WATAIN, which is kind of a "spiritual successor" to DISSECTION.
