I once saw Crothers perform a duet with Max Roach at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. They were accompanying the magnificent dancers Bill T. Jones and Arnie Zane. Of the four of them, only Mr. Jones is still with us.

Sorry for the confusion!
Hey everyone, Hour #3 of the documentary Tell Me How Long Trane's Been Gone, airing at 11am on Friday during Give the Drummer Some, is maybe the most powerful hour of music history you will ever hear in your life. (And it won't be archived.)
Just saying.
Dean:
Ms. Mendoza used to reside in this time zone.

@Jeff G.: Nothing and everything. I need a disk transport, but the store focuses on analog. Would love new amps, just 'cuz, but everything I want is out of reach $-wise. Planning just to hang out. Owner is a former recording engineer with quite a CV. You've heard of, say, the band Boston?

I have Muse 175s, solid-state monoblocks, c.1994. They're actually terrific, but I want the next level of resolution and oomph.
