Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Off to the kitchen.
Uncle, great sounds.
Hello Lane.
Lane Gray:
For wacky pronunciation it's hard to beat Missouri. Versailles rhymes with pails, Bolivar has the accent on the first syllable, which is a Ball. They also have a town named for the capital of Afghanistan, but it's spelt Cabool

I LOVE this lap steel thing, and it IS too good to talk over.
I can't comment with knowledge of the steel on the Truck Driver Boogie, as I know little about lap steel players. I'm pretty sure it wasn't Jerry Byrd.
