i remember seeing soundgarden at city gardens in 1990 with faith no more and voi vod, chris was hanging from the plumbing structures and kicking out the ceiling tiles on the stage. it was poetry.

I always said Cornell was like Paul Rogers from Free/Bad Company. Great voice, but I rarely felt like the songs were up to it. I still liked hearing them both, though.
