A few days ago on a Spanish language station the announcer, doing a commercial, in Spanish, said, "One more time," in English, before he repeated the phone number. Apparently you're always supposed to announce "one more time" in a different language.

This is great! Takes me back to Summers in Westfield Wisconsin. The beer and brat fest involved closing
Main Street, then covering it with beer and vomit before the next morning. I was only 5, so the noise
and smell were something my grandparents never got around to explaining... "Let's go fishing, Davey!"

That TJ's soy chorizo is passable enough. It's clearly not meat and it might be more crumbly than real chorizo (maybe) but it's reasonable.

Now, the vegan cashew cheese at the late lamented M.O.B. restaurant, *that* was a damn fine vegan product.

@slugluv I heard recently that Chole was no longer associated with the by Chloe franchise after the ownership group dropped her for not wanting to serve/promote non-vegan products, so I'm soured on by Chloe. Cant go wrong with Sacred Chow though.

I used to live on Atlantic Avenue until rents pushed me out. Honestly, very few places on Atlantic Avenue survive. The landlords there are notoriously greedy. Worse than other places. So when I saw that place open, I knew it would disappear sooner rather than later.

Sorry to say that but hey… I’ve seen it with my own eyes!
