	9:26am Uncle Michael: Time isn't an issue. We've tried the overnight method. We like this method better. In our five qt. Belgian enamel dutch oven with the heavy lid, I bring 4 qts water to a boil with a half tsp. kosher salt. Stir in 1 cup steel cut oats and bring to a simmer. Put it in the oven at 350 on the middle rack. Stir it at 20 and 40 minutes. Serve it at 60 minutes.

	9:30am Uncle Michael: We dutch oven anything that requires stirring to avoid sticking and burning on the stove. Stews, chilis, bean dishes, lentils, robust soups..
	9:32am Uncle Michael: We also finally found the one reusable pod for a Keurig that makes a good cup of coffee and cleans up easily.
	9:33am Jeff Golick: Oh yeah, re the pop-up player: it's not your set-up. The player will often need to be paused and then "play" again to resolve the hiccuping that comes with a new live show coming on.

Jerry played on Ornette's "Virgin Beauty" LP tho hard to distinguish him much in the mix.

Jeffy would run through the chords before the show for him. When he got to Dark Star, he told Branford "This is boring, only 1 chord. But the fans seem to like it..." Great show, Jeff. 	🥁 9:26am Revolution Rabbit Nov63: ...no choice but to sip & dig dO...ya see...Somehow never managed to break anything - Blessings.
	9:26am Uncle Michael: Time isn't an issue. We've tried the overnight method. We like this method better. In our five qt. Belgian enamel dutch oven with the heavy lid, I bring 4 qts water to a boil with a half tsp. kosher salt. Stir in 1 cup steel cut oats and bring to a simmer. Put it in the oven at 350 on the middle rack. Stir it at 20 and 40 minutes. Serve it at 60 minutes.

	🥁 9:28am doctorjazz: Caught the end of Abdullah Ibrahim, darn check it out later). Have the same issue with the pop up player on a PC, stopped working when shows c change. Seems to only affect the Drummer stream, not shows on the regular stream.
	9:30am listener james from westwood: One of the copy editors at the aforementioned conference is a home roaster of coffee beans who brings her full works (beans, grinder, Aeropress) on road trips. Serious Business.
	9:30am Uncle Michael: We dutch oven anything that requires stirring to avoid sticking and burning on the stove. Stews, chilis, bean dishes, lentils, robust soups..
	9:32am Uncle Michael: We also finally found the one reusable pod for a Keurig that makes a good cup of coffee and cleans up easily.
	9:33am Jeff Golick: Oh yeah, re the pop-up player: it's not your set-up. The player will often need to be paused and then "play" again to resolve the hiccuping that comes with a new live show coming on.

	🥁 9:33am doctorjazz: Looking forward to catching The Microscopic Septet tonight in Manhattan. Their new album sounds like it should be fun (read a review), should be getting it soon. The Micros and Abdullah Ibrahim are up there with the artists I've gone to see most often.

Jeffy would run through the chords before the show for him. When he got to Dark Star, he told Branford "This is boring, only 1 chord. But the fans seem to like it..." Great show, Jeff.
