Reminded of 'Bollywood' & how they interpreted 'Western' Pop~Rawk - I think just about creating the original 'MashUps' ! Also what Guido said: Turkish Music is inherently 'Psychedelic'. Rawk borrowed hugely from 'International' Musics - Middle-Eastern, Indian & Asian - to create Psych in the 1st place - the 'Hashish Lands' - if you will? They called Rick Wright, PinkFloyd's keyboardist's stock riff his 'Turkish delight' - to the point if rather glib...Right - JC Superstar was written w/ the MiddleEast in kind of course...
