I saw Tommy R at -- this is true -- a two-day rock festival in a parking lot at a Paramus NJ mall in the early 70s when I was a sophomore in high school. I remember him doing 'Sweet Pea' in particular. He was playing a strat and had a small band behind him. The effect was kind of like his greatest hits played by a local garage band -- but in a good way.
