annie if you like homestyle Japanese food I can recommend Cafe Pacific in Ithaca on Dryden Rd., the lady who owns it is really nice and I ate there at least once a week (and wrote like a 1/3rd of my dissertation there :) They also have lots of tasty desserts

i never stepped in that tapas place, cliff, i just don't understand paying the same prtice for "small plates" as i do for real meals. if there's not enough for a doggie bag, it's not worth it; in these times of financial uncertainty i like to know i have a frozen something against a skimpy SS check
