Polycarp55:

Maybe the Pet Shop Boys. Remind me of a time in bullet and riot infested Jerusalem, where it was 3 am. I was returning from a night out at the Arizona Bar. And another dance club, next to that Sapporo Pizza (the one was bombed by terrorists well after our visit.) I was making global plans with four other guys. One from England, One From Australia, and one from the Netherlands. Even though there was tension in the air, from social unrest, you could also feel the sparks of a creative revolution.

Shame both that listener and the DJ disliked that pop song so much. I never here people complaining about Dylan or Lou Reed's obviously affected voice.

@Slick Goldtooth: A couple of years ago there was a reissue with 7 heures du matin (French version) on the a-side and 7 AM (the English version) on the b-side. And 10 years ago she made an EP with Amsterdam Beatclub with 2 new versions: 7h du soir (French) and 7 PM (English)

If you need a chuckle, the midday BBC news radio report on today's event was pretty great. Especially when the Canadian defense minister got asked on what he thinks Trump would think on Trudeau and he kinda gives a cop out answer because it's too obvious how he really felt and wanted to say.

I recently read an article by a Lyme Disease doctor, and she said persistent Lyme Disease is disbelieved by many doctors and the people in patients' lives, who doubt the severity of the illness. She's seen many marriages dissolve over the issue, and many patients in a state of PTSD over trying to prove to others that they are ill. Just having someone BELIEVE that you are sick is a huge deal.

I never war a disco sucks t-shirt but consider that disco came out along with punk. Punk to us kids felt raw and real as opposed to disco which always felt manufactured for a demanding market. Consider "Grease" added to the movie version. Pure post saturday night fever money grab and totally wrong for a period musical.

@Fox, I know Kathleen Henna of Bikini Kill fame was diagnosed super late with late stage Lyme's Disease because a lot of doctors were unsure exactly what was wrong with her until well after the fact when a lot of damage was done. I know she's recovered now but it's pretty terrifying going so long with not knowing what is causing you a lot of pain.

@Slick - Even if you DO know you've got Lyme it's a rough time. I've got some genetic health issues, and got Lyme Disease on top of that. I caught it within a few months, but I've got chronic migraines now, cognitive decline, and body pains. Seven years later I am still on anti-biotics, because without them, I get one long unrelenting headache.

The moral of the story is: Don't go outside. Not ever.
