Ridgewood Radio features concert recordings by adventurous bands and experimental musicians and restored archival tapes from private and institutional collections captured at venues large and small across the five boroughs of New York. It is produced by David Weinstein and Outpost Artists Resources operating out of the Ridgewood section of Queens, NY, where you'll find more yellow bricks than on the road to Oz and the cemetery of your choice is never more than a few blocks from home.

My buddy Steve appeared on a panel with Ostertag a few years ago to discuss Ostertag's "All the Rage": https://vimeo.com/56832171 Check out the other links, including more footage including Ostertag.

I want to play whatever video game that was.

I think you are required to play using the Oculus Rift or comparable device.

A pleasant hark back to Blip Fest (which, I see, exileFaker played in the fest's later years in the Pacific.) Never got to go, though I well remember the year FMU broadcast it from the Bell House.

I watched too much of the orange man's "press conference". Ugh. Seriously frightened. My brain needs cleansing, this works.
The robots are fluffing & folding it right now!

fred:

@geezerette: A Gent Orange is dangerous for the brain, but in a bad way (unlike Thomas Storck's show)
Avatar 2:59pm
geezerette:

High five,Fred! & he ain't no Gent.

This Lary 7 set starts very well.
For some reason it reminded me that Pierre Berthet will play at Sonic Protest, which is good news to me
Avatar 3:07pm
geezerette:

Sonic Protest sounds like serious fun! Too bad it's so far from here.

Fred: "A Gent Orange" -- good one! Would steal, but I don't know anyone (outside the WFMUniverse) who would get the reference.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:12pm
doctorjazz:

Sounds like an out of control accordion at this moment, cool.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 3:13pm

@fred Have to admit I didn't get it until my third read.

Where I grew up the happy place was called the "friendly confines" and will be trying to replicate that for the rest of time.
