My parents had Roger Miller's Greatest Hits, and I listened to it constantly when I was ten. I still have it memorized, I think.

Great version of Take Me To The River!
(tried to go to the Carnegie Deli on Monday, after a half hour of waiting (and asking the front of the line, who had waited 2 hours and still weren't in), I had a great pastrami sandwich at the 2nd Avenue Deli (costs an arm and a leg these days, though).

(Vince Vance and The Valiants = silly New Orleans cover/novelty/funny hairstyle band who, oddly enough, did the original "All I Want For Christmas Is You".)

Duke, love this album (the suites from late in Duke's career are all great, love the New Orleans Suite).
