Thanks for your thoughts on jazz/music history Scott. In some ways, I feel like all the historical stuff can hinder the sheer joy of discovery. I love the epiphany of finding a cool CD at Housingworks for a couple of bucks and then later realizing who all the people are. Music is like a big jigsaw puzzle, the fun is putting it all together.
