Tocotronic is well known in germany, They have great german vocals + lyrics and guitar sound, with a lot of sadness but energy, floating into positivity and back. something like alternative, post-punk. I recommend all albums till "Pure Vernunft darf niemals siegen" in 2005. e.g: "Pure Vernunft Darf Niemals Siegen" ("Pure Vernunft Darf Niemals Siegen" #07) "Der schönste Tag in meinem Leben" ("Es ist egal, aber" #13) "Meine Freundin und ihr Freund" ("Digital ist Besser" 02)

The meter maid obviously got the license plate info from my still-valid NY registration sticker, thus ticketing my old plates that were sent in and destroyed months ago. Should I pay the ticket?

	1:16pm Cecile: also, if for some reason you have cops or a DA who's on your case, even a parking ticket can be an excuse to hassle you.

	1:21pm coelacanth: there are many reasons you may want to pay it. in my case they were dead wrong and it was a big one. ("blocking a bus stop") ...i took photographs to prove it. ... so i pleaded not guilty and they ignored that -instead increasing the fine. this happened a few times until it was 3-4 hundred $$ so i just started ignoring it, and not driving into the city. that was years ago.

("blocking a bus stop") ...i took photographs to prove it. ... so i pleaded not guilty and they ignored that -instead increasing the fine. this happened a few times until it was 3-4 hundred $$ so i just started ignoring it, and not driving into the city. that was years ago.
