n mid-1990, Bators was struck by a taxi in Paris during a bank holiday. He was taken to a hospital but reportedly left before seeing a doctor after waiting several hours and assuming he was not injured. Reports indicate that he died in his sleep as the result of a concussion.

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
Part of the basic Ethos of the whole 'FreeForm' enterprise I understand - even as it's written - is to give voice to the Unheard, or @ least the UnderHeard - even just for its' own sake. Every DJ here does that - so no problem there...Even so, Institutions develop - & I imagine that's about how everybody wants it...
A program on FMU not only brings access to expert curating of a niche that is hard to impossible to access otherwise - it's a micro-community & culture. So - that's hard to lose. But - yes - what takes its' place will likely be something equally worthy - & - yes - no schedule lasts...One eventually realizes FMU is more than just the current schedule (fill-ins, for example)...It's an embarrassment of riches.
