Too $hort | excerpt from rare Jan 30th 1996 Too $hort interview with Billy Jam | rare interview - part of it b'cast on Pirate Fuckin Radio and in some mags like BAM or XXL - conducted with recurring interviewee Todd Shaw for some print outlets and for his record label Jive for whom I would pen the press/ publicity releases for their Bay acts and others - which: gave me early listens to forthcoming releases (usually two months early) + direct access to artists. A year earlier Short had been at my house when I showed him the EPK for Luniz from Noo Trybe that he had not seen - I had just gotten it and they diss him in interview which fueled already ongoing feud with C+H/Luniz/DruDown camp | 0:45:20 (Pop-up) | ||||

which, after their back-n-forth dispute on Twitter, and in response to Talib's "You Tried It" diss - Remedy's going directly at Talib Kweli with his side of the story. It is 120 bars straight over a Wu-Tang medley of beats. Hip Hop, race, and politics, all in one. Remedy is a hip-hop artist, producer, and label owner affiliated with Wu-Tang, most known for his Holocaust tribute "Never Again", which appeared on the 'Wu Tang: The Swarm' album. He also is the executive producer of Inspectah Deck's 'Manifesto' album, Cappadonna's 'The Struggle' album, and 'Wu-Tang: The Pollen' album. He has released 3 solo albums titled, 'The Genuine Article', 'Code Red', and 'It All Comes Down To This', and is prepping an album with Killah Priest entitled 'Holy of Holies'.
