	12:36pm still b/p: Backing up a bit, Poco's Crazy Love might fit on the Yacht Rock satellite music channel. Listened to it a while on a shared ride recently. Driver says at least 50% of tracks have Michael McDonald on back-up or lead. He mentioned the SCTV bit where Moranis as McDonald runs in and out of studio to sing a back-up line at exactly the necessary moment. Minutes later, we heard the song from that bit on the channel, Christopher Cross Ride Like the Wind. Given the period favored by the channel, I knew Ambrosia would also show up shortly and they did.

	2:00pm βrian: I saw KSA back in the late 80s. That was a hoot. But after discovering other West African music, I kind of lost interest. A friend went to the Millennium park show and liked it.
	2:00pm Dean: Bassist is Brian Torff, who long played with Shearing and, later, Laurence Hobgood, in a sweet Evans-esque piano trio, Union.
	2:02pm Dean: I think I have three copies of this Groovies LP, and I've given away a few as gifts. A stand-out record at the time, and still.

	12:36pm still b/p: Backing up a bit, Poco's Crazy Love might fit on the Yacht Rock satellite music channel. Listened to it a while on a shared ride recently. Driver says at least 50% of tracks have Michael McDonald on back-up or lead. He mentioned the SCTV bit where Moranis as McDonald runs in and out of studio to sing a back-up line at exactly the necessary moment. Minutes later, we heard the song from that bit on the channel, Christopher Cross Ride Like the Wind. Given the period favored by the channel, I knew Ambrosia would also show up shortly and they did.
