I'm happy I moved back to Vermont, but sad I don't live in Jersey City anymore and will miss the Boogarins' show tonight at Monty Hall. Waah.
Avatar 3:09pm
Michael:

Hi ho Irwin.
Avatar 3:09pm
Wild Neil:

@Wendy-there are some really great things in Vermont. Skiing! other stuff too...you are lucky!
  3:09pm

Wendy - I work with a Vermonter who sent me this:

  3:17pm
SeanG:

sounds like sunset
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:19pm
Wendy del Formaggio:

Wild Neil: Are you serious? Skiing? What do I look like, a yuppie? I can't afford that shit. Yes, I know there are plenty of nice things in Vermont. I didn't move here because I was kidnapped.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:21pm
Wendy del Formaggio:

Michael, my condolences to your co-worker. I try to avoid most of those things on that site. Tourists. Eww.
Avatar 3:22pm
Wild Neil:

@Wendy-I go snowboarding once a year if I'm lucky, I know lift tickets are REALLY expensive....it sucks....cross country skiing is cool and very inexpensive too....
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23pm
Michael 98145:

"Vermont is first in the nation for breweries and brew pubs per capita."
Avatar 3:24pm
Wild Neil:

Funny also that such a liberal-leaning state should have such lenient gun laws!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm
pinholga:

Regular Matt Valentine shows are a definite Vermont perk. Also for quality free activates, I highly recommend the Cabot factory tour.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:24pm
Wendy del Formaggio:

Wild Neil: I've lived here on and off since 1991. I am well acquainted with things to do here. Most of them involve being indoors.
Avatar 3:25pm
Michael:

Wendy, she sent it to me because her aunt and uncle are the maple syrup producers pictured. She’s from way up north but goes home often (we’re in Boston) and keeps me supplied with very fresh syrup so there’s that.
Avatar 3:26pm
Monica:

love this stew song - so great.
Avatar 3:26pm
Wild Neil:

Eating pancakes and waffles-indoors-sounds awesome, especially with Vermont-made maple syrup. Yum!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:26pm
Wendy del Formaggio:

Michael 98145: The brew-pub thing. That's not exactly a perk.
Regular Michael: Maple syrup is crucial! And it's expensive. Keep your co-worker in your good graces.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:27pm
Wendy del Formaggio:

Wild Neil: We have excellent pancakes and waffles here. This time of year the wild blueberries are in-season, so extra incentive.

invisibleste:

Ah. that's a bit more within my budget.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:22pm
Irwin:

That's less per show than if you purchased them individually. Joe deserves to make a living.
  4:27pm
Fredericks:

I like the episodes where Joe incorporates Jack Kornfield talks. Joe didn't get permission and Jack didn't care.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:33pm
Mike East:

@Fredericks- that's interesting...do you know if he was just an audience member at the talks with a tape recorder, or if he got the recordings elsewhere?

Hi, Irwin, people!

Please, Does someone knows the song being played in the background during this Frank's monologue? Irwin, does Frank credits it? Thanks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:43pm

@fofo - I agree. Think that's my favorite JF bed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:48pm
Mike East:

We have Kornfield's "A Path with Heart" on our bookshelf, but I haven't cracked it. My wife enjoyed it, though.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:58pm
Michael 98145:

Guess i never realized Joe Frank had an IMDB page: www.imdb.com...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:01pm
Mike East:

I rented the Game just because I wanted to see Joe Frank in it for 5 seconds.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:02pm
Irwin:

Joe had a book that was in print for about 5 seconds. He was embarrassed by it, won't discuss it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:03pm
Greg from ZONE 5:

@Mike: I did the same thing in college!
  5:07pm
Fredericks:

Mr. East, I know Jack has tapes of his talks available. Probably some aired on a non-commercial radio station. I don't know how Mr. Frank became familiar with him.
This Will Destroy You sounds like the name of a metal band.

...if you rip Calypso Artistes for their royalties - can you say you're a pirate of the Caribbean?
  5:18pm
Fredericks:

Hey Irwin, wasn't there a popular Calypso singer named "Prince" something/something or the the other?
Avatar 5:18pm
