Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from July 29, 2016 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

FOKES.

Mark R:

So that's all you're gonna tell us, huh? "Decimus." No song, no album, no nothin'. "I was gonna type all that shit but my wrists got tired..."
  12:31pm
stefuca:

Driving in a car, and listening to you on the actual radio!

The one Decimus LP i have has zero titles on sleeve or label. Perhaps it isn't even Decimus.... at all....
just.......... " "
Avatar 12:37pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

It could be Bobby Vinton for all I know.
Doesn't sound like Bobby Vinton.
But it doesn't say it ISN'T Bobby Vinton.
  12:38pm
Mark R:

Then, my mocking of the DJ is hereby withdrawn and re-focused on whatever record label Decimus is on. If they're on one. If there is in fact a Decimus. Which I'm beginning to doubt.

lol, sorry mark. still running around, power foraging
  12:41pm
Mark R:

As usual I'm digging the sounds of the Bryce radio program, anyway. If it really was 1965, I wouldn't have a playlist to mock. I'd just be wondering why they're playing these weirdo sounds and not the Rolling Stones new hit smash record with a bullet. The one about the cigarettes and so forth. Which I think is their coded way of telling all the tea-heads that they also smoke marijuana, and to please send them to their hotel when they visit their town on their next concert tour.
Avatar 12:42pm
Chris from DC:

Yay Bryce
  12:42pm
Mark R:

Actually, I think Bryce just stuck a microphone down in the bowels of the building and is broadcasting that while he eats lunch. Hence the lack of information on the "record."
Avatar 12:46pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

looking at discogs, it must be Decimus 10, the one with no clues...

“The gringo kind with flour and milk…” Flour tortillas are delicious to just roll into a ball and eat as a food, but not as something that goes with food!

I disagree. Once you have had a brisket taco in certain parts of TX, you will be sold.

@Carm: tucson it was. Every parking lot had its requisite Tamale Lady, selling hand-mades from a liberated shopping cart. Always excellent.
