There used to be a great VHS rental joint in Syracuse: survived winter by renting a 2nd VHS machine and a huge pile of tapes. Make copies. Seemed like that place had all those films. Mondo Magic was another one.. classic goofy.

My time in syracuse was 1992-3. I remember one serviceable record store in (s)nob hill. One indian restaurant downtown. One decent commie bakery near that. And 75 months a year of winter. I was indeed weak.

Love his work,there's no one else like him. One of California's many
late 20th century wildman artists. We still have Ed Moses,who's 90,George Hermes in his 80s,Ed Ruscha in his 70s. (incomplete list) Very special generation. The women were great too. That's a seperate comment. :)

hello fmu'ers. just got back with the missus from 4 days in cape cod and i have to say - radio outside the fmu airwaves REALLY SUCKS! awful classic rock, hip hop rappy crap, christian mumbo jumbo, awful new country....it all was horrendous. was so happy to pick up 90.1 in the car on the way home.
