P-90:

Interesting song title. There must be a story there? Hi Frow and Frowners.

jj.:

which song title? the ciani? sounds like it was venue/series WBAI ran in the mid-'70s: www.pacificaradioarchives.org...

P-90:

Thanks for the link! Also searched "Buchla Concerts" for more info. Recognize "Buchla" as the name of an early analog synth. And its inventor.

P-90:

And some of my favorite dialogue from "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" sampled here.

jj.:

yup, don buchla, with links to the san francisco tape music center c. 1965-1966, the trips festival, etc..
  2:42am
P-90:

Yes, Don Buchla! That's going way back. I think one of his synths may have been ifeatured n the original Whole Earth Catalog. I think there was a point when he and Moog were the only really serious names. Ray Kurzweil and others came a bit later...

Trouble is off for the summer. Normally, Matt Warwick and Garbage Time is the 9AM Tuesday slot, but Mayuko is filling in for him tomorrow. Nice show tonight. See you later, JJ!

Thanks, jj
