ZBS radio series like Jack Flanders and Ruby: Galactic Gumshoe pioneered the genre of science fiction/ fantasy/ comedy radio drama. ZBS shows were beautiful aurally, recorder on location, for example, in Scotland and Morocco.

	5:46am Larry: ZBS programs had lovely sound quality, quirky characters and mystical ideas. The reason I stopped listening to ZBS shows was the crude voice-over work, which would Take me out of the story. Switchboard Infinity is better because it is improved, like the early Firesign recordings.
	5:49am ian: yeah firesign is one of those acts that had a zombie resurgence after the internet age, i'm just into the pre 90s stuff. but i am glad that yet again we are connecting around this radio show. some of their first get albums are utter masterpieces of audio production, but then so many of those came from that era ;) antelope freeway one half mile. antelope freeway one quarter mile.. ralph spoilsport motors next exit. ZBS radio series like Jack Flanders and Ruby: Galactic Gumshoe pioneered the genre of science fiction/ fantasy/ comedy radio drama. ZBS shows were beautiful aurally, recorder on location, for example, in Scotland and Morocco.

	5:46am Larry: ZBS programs had lovely sound quality, quirky characters and mystical ideas. The reason I stopped listening to ZBS shows was the crude voice-over work, which would Take me out of the story. Switchboard Infinity is better because it is improved, like the early Firesign recordings.
