Blue Man Group used to close its performances with this track and I really hope they still do, because it was like the closing hymn to a religious experience. Also there was toilet paper. LOTS of toilet paper.

But genuinely liked the Bulgarian song – the woman with light-up suspenders and earrings and so on.

Or like Ron Swanson's permit: a piece of paper with "I can do whatever I want" written on it.

You can always pull a Woody Allen and say I've always had trouble respecting authority while ripping up your driver's license (though it might be a little tricky with the plastic ones nowadays, better bring a pair of scissors)

The Ramones were trying to be ABBA. That makes so much sense

I Live For The Sun is so awesome. When I was in high school, I went through a major '60s surf music phase, and this was always my favorite song. Even more than the Beach Boys. It's not '60s, but "Beach Baby," rules, too.

Listen to Aftermath by the Stones... it's very pop and just starting to get dark and weird. My favorite record by them. And yes, they'd rather be with the boys

The Sun Rays? I used to have that record.. I had no idea their music destroyed bars... thought they were unknown weaklings!
