Someone brought in gluten free cake. Jake, would you like some?” And my response—because her tone was so annoying and I didn’t want it was—“Well, that cake looks great but you know… I like gluten… So if you or anyone in the office has spare gluten, give it to this guy!” The look on er face was past stunned. She had no idea that was a joke. A week or so later I quit.

Someone brought in gluten free cake. Jake, would you like some?” And my response—because her tone was so annoying and I didn’t want it was—“Well, that cake looks great but you know… I like gluten… So if you or anyone in the office has spare gluten, give it to this guy!” The look on er face was past stunned. She had no idea that was a joke. A week or so later I quit.
