	11:21am Jeff: The scriptwriters for Grantchester cranked up the pace a bit compared to the original James Runcie books. It's disconcerting, but probably for the better. The amount of time the original vicar spends actively engaging in self-abnegating inactivity with respect to pursuing any woman he's interested in is, believe it or not, even more protracted and suffocating than what's portrayed on the screen. Oh, and phun phact: the writer of the books is the son of the former Archbishop of Canterbury.

	11:21am Jeff: The scriptwriters for Grantchester cranked up the pace a bit compared to the original James Runcie books. It's disconcerting, but probably for the better. The amount of time the original vicar spends actively engaging in self-abnegating inactivity with respect to pursuing any woman he's interested in is, believe it or not, even more protracted and suffocating than what's portrayed on the screen. Oh, and phun phact: the writer of the books is the son of the former Archbishop of Canterbury.
