Ken,

The time has come to play the Schlammpeitziger goat song. You haven't played it in a long long time. Thing is I still don't know its title BUT by accident I found out it is actually a remix of a Wevie Stonder tune!! ('A Buddha made of Mud' from The Bucket album).

I hope by playing the Wevie Stonder original version will give us clues on where to find the the Schlammy remix (which by the way, is a Ken listener's dream come true: goats, scat singing, and presumably Schlammy singing).

Ken,

Yes, of course you played it before like in the 2007-2009 years but I can't find it perhaps because it was misfiled with another name.

Anyway, according to the Wevie Stonder Wiki page it is from a remix album made in 2007 called 'A Buddha Made of Mud' which only adds to the confusion (The Bucket is from 2009).

If you play Wevie's Buddha version have the DUMP button at the ready. It starts with an expletive (music starts at 25 secs)

Also, in case any metal is played today I'd suggest The Who Boys / Devils is Dead

I suggested that these results would follow from the assumption that a subset of English sentences interesting on quite independent grounds raises serious doubts about irrelevant intervening contexts in selectional rules. On our assumptions, this analysis of a formative as a pair of sets of features can be defined in such a way as to impose nondistinctness in the sense of distinctive feature theory. By combining adjunctions and certain deformations, the appearance of parasitic gaps in domains relatively inaccessible to ordinary extraction is necessary to impose an interpretation on a stipulation to place the constructions into these various categories. For any transformation which is sufficiently diversified in application to be of any interest, this selectionally introduced contextual feature does not readily tolerate the levels of acceptability from fairly high (eg (99a)) to virtual gibberish (eg (98d)). It must be emphasized, once again, that the earlier discussion of deviance does not affect the structure of the traditional practice of grammarians.

  11:01am Chomskybot:

Glenn: so far, relational information is unspecified with respect to an important distinction in language use. Nevertheless, a descriptively adequate grammar is not quite equivalent to a descriptive fact. This suggests that a subset of English sentences interesting on quite independent grounds delimits the strong generative capacity of the theory. Analogously, this selectionally introduced contextual feature cannot be arbitrary in nondistinctness in the sense of distinctive feature theory. It appears that most of the methodological work in modern linguistics is not subject to a parasitic gap construction.

  11:34am Chomskivodbot:

To provide a constituent structure for VOIVOD, the natural general principle that will subsume this case cannot be arbitrary in a descriptive fact. We have already seen that a case of semigrammaticalness of a different sort is rather different from irrelevant intervening contexts in VOIVOD. So far, the notion of level of grammaticalness does not affect the structure of the levels of acceptability from fairly high (eg (99a)) to VOIVOD (eg (98d)). I suggested that these results would follow from the assumption that the theory of syntactic features developed earlier delimits the ultimate standard that determines the accuracy of any proposed VOIVOD. It must be emphasized, once again, that the fundamental error of regarding functional notions as categorial is to be regarded as a general convention regarding the forms of VVVVVVVVOOOOIIIIVVVVOOOODDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!111!!!`~~~!!!!!!1!!!!!!!!

@Bobdoesthings: I also live under the persistent delusion that someday Station Manager Ken will address me directly in the comments, and that will lead to a dialogue, in which he will discover that I would be a perfect fit on the WFMU staff. After that, I think maybe I'll haunt The music library... or Monty Hall, if they ever raise enough money for that snow cone machine, But then again, as I write this, I realize that's not exactly within the realm of "keeping sane," now is it?
