	9:45pm Cliff: It was here earlier during Bryce's show, crawling around on my desk trying to find where the ragas were coming from......I opened a window and a half hour later it disappeared, but I guess it was hiding out in the shadows somewhere

	9:45pm coelacanth: 'too early for squash beetles here. -'got stinkbugs though...and spiders. these are fun to watch! -and some earwig-ish sort of thing?

	9:47pm coelacanth: do you mean a small, striped (yellow and...brown?)beetle that eats the squash and melon flowers?
	9:48pm coelacanth: earwigs don't bother me! house flies, on the other hand, thoroughly disgust me.
	9:49pm Cliff: It might be a stinkbug, not a squashbug. I'm not going to test it either way.
	9:52pm coelacanth: stinkbugs are pretty cool; but unfortunately they need to be eradicated. (at least here) - i've made some wonderful recordings of them. they're as loud as bees, but lower-pitched.

	10:12pm coelacanth: Daniel i'll be happy to, but it might be a little while. i've several dozen started sound projects in line that i've decided to methodically finish (or discard) in order, so to create space in my recording devices. i wont forget though. Cliff, they don't seem to fly much, do they. they walk a lot though.
	10:14pm Cliff: Yep, I'm ok with Mr. Stinky hanging out in my bedroom if he just crawls around the walls. It's the flying critters like moths that creep me out.

	10:17pm Cliff: I had a visitation from a ladybug last month, I guess she was hibernating in the walls over the winter

	10:19pm melinda: Ladybug visitations are pleasant.
	10:21pm Cliff: At one of the libraries in my college there was this one study room up on the fifth floor that had a window always crawling with a couple dozen ladybugs, any time of the year. It was so bizarre.

	10:26pm coelacanth: i knew someone who was scared of ladybugs. her friend commissioned me to paint the cover of a going-away scrapbook she made for her. she liked roosters so i painted a rooster crossing a road, with a tiny ladybug by its feet. (either to help her get over it, or to torment her - her choice)
