In 1970, KQED TV San Francisco was simulcasting Bill Graham produced concerts with FM radio stations in San Francisco. That's where I first heard QMS, and also the news that Janis Joplin had died. My Beatles/Ed Sullivan moment.

About 20 years ago, I remember hearing a story about David Crosby recording a few songs into a hand held tape recorder while doing his stretch at the Wynn Unit in Huntsville, Texas. Anyone know if those saw the light of day?
