Last year I celebrated by attending the 24 hour Zombie - Jesus movie marathon that has been going on for 10 years. A movie from each genre is shown at the same time and side by side. You can check out the FB page for listings.

oh, yes, the Art of Living. !! a young man who rented a room from me, who ended up avoiding his rent payments, was a huge advocate of them. went to a couple of their gatherings. it was spooky. all love and light, but you could feel tension.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:20am
micah:

you seem to have dabbled in alot of these groups annie
Avatar 7:25am
annie:

i sure have... my search for "community" and "family" has taken me down many rabbit-holes. since i don't play well with others, i'm almost always rejected due to my distaste for heirarchy. my family is humankind
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:31am

Sounds a little like sloop john b.

Woah, I was just alerted to the existence of Tim Maia yesterday afternoon (and spent an hour or two listening to him), when asking a friend for some Tropicalia artists to check out. Weird. Maybe I should join this cult...

@Micah Later today I'm going to be meeting up with my friend who got caught up in Candice O'Denver's "Balanced View". Haven't seen her for ages (when she was just starting to get seriously into it). Now it's the central focus of her life. Any advice on how to deal with the topic? (avoid it? be totally straightforward and honest? just ask and listen?)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56am
micah:

yea canterbury its best to be neutral and ask as many questions as you can..i mean, thats what Id do
