when i was just a small sprout of a music obsessive, i heard a track from Cambodian Rocks on college radio.... I listened in hopes that the DJ would tell me what it was, or even what country it was from, to no avail. the ensuing hunt (which took me all over my small music world and expanded it as I went), in many ways, shaped my brain into the oblong mess it is today.
