Favoriting Bryce: Playlist from January 29, 2016 Favoriting

I never miscue a record. I am punctual, well-prepared, and dislike clutter. Outgoing and helpful, I'm always appropriately dressed. I do not behave erratically and have excellent penmanship. My CD's never skip, and I am in good health. I like all the notes, in any order.

I am enjoying this Bret Schneider. Isn't he the father of John Schneider, former star of televison's, The Dukes of Hazzard? Certainly there are stylistic similarities in the overall "feel" of their approaches to music and acting.

This really turned into a Soliloquy for Lilith kind of deal. That's a very good thing.
  1:25pm
Coy:

Ah, Dee Snider. I heard he's now teaming up with the band that sang the popular MTV hit, "Broken Wings." Their new project is to be called, Mister Sister. Should be interesting. great show. I hate museums.

Avatar 1:33pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

of course the vibe of the track changed as soon as i posted that, thus violently neutering an otherwise fab joke.

Also: will have to hit the archive; missed the Lasse M. piece; haven't heard that collaboration yet...

Andrew Waterloo:

Saw Nels Cline at a jazz festival and in behind me were a bunch of annoying Wilco fans getting hyped up about seeing Nels Cline perform. They got up and left about 3 minutes into the set. I wonder if the same happened for this Glen Kotche performance.
Avatar 1:42pm
Chris from DC:

I give that joke a ringing endorsement though.

This John Lither Adams reminds me of the movie Gravity where they are floating in orbit waiting for the space debris to hit...

I saw Manuel Göttsching perform E2-E4 on the UWS in '08 or so. He shredded over it at one point. Was awesome.

Still have this as a Spalax CD reissue. An orig.pressing with the die-cut cover is probably horrifically expensive but seems like a must.

I have that one as well, Rev.

Thanks to the Ash Ra Tempel, I'll have to run home & crack out the old Guru Guru vinyl. It's a cause & effect thing. Simple physics.
