Favoriting Hinky Dinky Time with Uncle Michael: Playlist from January 29, 2016 Favoriting

Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Was trying to think of the best FMU to post this on, and I think it's this one. You know those DIY dance tracks where someone loops a clip from a movie or news event? "They're taking the hobbits to Isengard" -- "Hide ya wife, hide ya kids" -- that kinda thing? The mighty TV Tropes has assembled all of them -- *all* of them -- onto one page. Prepare to waste the rest of your day.

Sun Ra would bave been on the keyboard, he liked the electric piano and similar keyboards.

my wife and I have recently been talking about talking about the weather. If aliens are watching, they will think there is NOTHING more important than the weather cuz that's all anyone talks about. Electrostatics, including hybrids: panel on top, woofer below. Once upon a time, very nice gear. Now that they're heavy into "home theater," I'm not so sure.

@Lane: So your feet end up being ahead of the front wheels, a lot like the older VW busses, right? In those, the feet were also first to the scene of the wreck.

Thanks UM!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:07pm

We didn't outlaw cabovers, but we took away their advantage. We used to have overall length laws, and the only way to get a 53' trailer under 65' was a cabover.
