I'm sick. AGAIN. I think I need to order one of those bubbles to live in because the policy of mutual evasion I've shared with disease since 1988 seems to have expired. Happy Chinese New Year. Dim Sum, anyone?

Whether by accident or by strict intention, I did this entire show without once addressing the fact that the space shuttle exploded on re-entry this morning. While this is clearly an awful occurrence, I found myself pretty surprised at how indifferent I felt about exhibiting any real sadness towards it. Maybe my personal catastroph-ometer is forever off the scale due to some kind of post-September 11th syndrome. Welcome to the new morality.
