View Uncle Michael's profile |
Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

Works the other way, too, UM. Donny Paycheck, drummer and chronic finger-giver for Zeke, is just a cool grandpa kinda guy. Brinsley Schwarz appeared to appreciate the "I've been a fan forever" offerings after a Graham Parker gig. Their job, perhaps, is to be human offstage.
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
...But of course dismissing a whole Genre out of hand is an abdication.
...I'll Copy & Save that for next time the Disco Question comes up maybe...
I like Ferry just fine, to be clear. He does Ferry real well.
