honestly, i like the "intro" the best.

Very glad you are doing this Devon. Its amazing the director rejected that track because it seems like a perfect soundtrack piece to me. I read a while back that Bowie had a vision of all these spacey ambient sort of songs but the director didn't share his vision in that regard. The cover of Low is a treated still from the film, I believe, and its one of my favorite record covers.

should be a lovely show.

saw 'Christiane F' last night. striking anti-drug propaganda film featuring Bowie's soundtrack. well known songs from his time in Berlin. not all performed by Bowie, i don't think. lovely concert footage.

Still haven't seen that, Linda. On my list.

very nice film, stylistically. lovely palette. concerns a clueless 13 year old & her quick descent into heroin addiction. the usual horror story.

Thanks, Devon, and WFMU for these nuggets of rare Bowie. This is interesting to hear.

Thx for listening All. I'm sure everyone is a little tuckered out of the Bowie tracks at this point but I had to do it. One of my favorite artists of all time, so I need to pay my respects. At least many will be some of these less-played 80s to the 2000s tracks.

good show mr. e. levins. everyone has been trying to delve into the deep cuts but sometimes you just need to indulge in the poppy side of life.

I for one am not yet tired of the Bowie tributes. Great selection. Don't remember his contribution to Falcon & the Snowman--that was a pretty quiet movie. Maybe just the credits?
