Sam Segal:

Welcome, everyone. @Rev, even sadder are the members of the rock-intelligentsia who deny Motorhead's brilliance/subversiveness.
Avatar 9:10pm
northguineahills:

Lemmy's brilliance was the focus on the riff.

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

He represented/s an attitude & a lifestyle & an energy as much as Little Richard, Keith Richards, Townshend & Iggy.

I won't deny his brilliance but Death popularized the growling vocal

Personally, I can't think of a genre that wouldn't be improved by more saxophones.

Sky Needle should team up w/ Space Needle, they don't sound too different.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:41pm
Sam Segal:

Hmmmm...never heard Space Needle. Do they also make their own instruments? Cuz that's Sky Needle's shtick.
Avatar 11:59pm
northguineahills:

Space Needle was (sometimes) a one man studio indie band, that hit different styles, usually fringey pop/noisey, other times more produced retroey. I believe they were on Zero Hour Recs.

Sounds splendid. I'll try to track em down. Thanks for hanging out tonight, @ngh.
