	11:45pm coelacanth: really though Jake when i was little that kind of thing was a revelation! i tried many ways to hook up my panasonic mono cassette recorder directly to the record player. it got to the point that i'd un-plug everything, make the connections, plug it all into an extension cord and stand outside my bedroom to plug it into the outlet- just in case something exploded!
