I'm really glad, actually, to know that others are having the same experience. I was beginning to worry that it was me.

As a woman, I have trouble finding music... because Apple has changed iTunes and I now have to scroll through 20k freaking songs to find something (instead of just being able to pull it up on a small seasonally curated selection of music on my iPhone). So I've just started using Spotify... Jimmy's competitor. Ha.

	4:43pm Parq: The thing is, I still really like having an iPod. I'm one of those dinos with the old spinning-drive kind, and nothing beats it for car trips. Sigh. First world problems, of course.

	4:46pm doctorjazz: @Gaylord-I didn't do any research, just my very unscientific impression having FMU on many hours a day at the office, but I'm glad to hear them any time. Bands do often have a waxing and waning of interest over time, and some do come back after the "sick of hearing them all the time" phase has passed.

	4:49pm djsheilab: @llyod michigan best thing is to NEVER update. I made the grave mistake last week and that's why I'm getting out of iTunes. It's a nightmare.
	4:49pm Andrew Waterloo: I work with a guy who is big on Apple's 'don't make the user think' design philosophy and I've always felt there was a point where it would quickly work against.
	4:50pm KP: Denim was the answer to Felt, not Suede. Felt was the answer to Suede. A long time ago i arrived in London, turned on the TV and there was Denim's lead singer singing "I'm Against the 80's" and i thought this is going to be great.

	4:54pm statoj: The genius of 60s music is how they made anxst ridden lyrics sound so upbeat and exuberant. How do they do it? Sheila you are a goddess!
	4:55pm doctorjazz: Many players will import your iTunes music, I believe JRiver (which can be gotten for free under the name Ponomusic player, or something like that) does it.
	4:55pm Gaylord Fields: I also have encased my old iTunes in amber by never "updowngrading" to a recent version.

Bands do often have a waxing and waning of interest over time, and some do come back after the "sick of hearing them all the time" phase has passed.
