Did she really just sing "I'd love to take you in my arms and hoodeedoodeedoo"? That may be the least sexy thing ever.

Speaking of mind control, I saw a dance show yesterday that featured an actor playing the part of a generic African dictator, speechifying about his duty to remain as a guide and father who knows best.
Does political bullshit generate less music than religious one? If so, I wonder why. Maybe it's just not as quirky, just patriotic paternalist anthems
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:41am
micah:

there is alot of political bullshit music but its not as interesting as spiritual/religious IMHO
Avatar 7:44am
annie:

what he said^. any religious music, under certain circumstances can be inspirational. i think part of it involves our mental state at that given moment. we are all of us prone to finding even the most insipid music very spiritual. it's almost embarrassing, yet telling how easily we can be manipulated...

Will:

Not sure what made me do it, but I had to pledge (again) ....had to pledge....had to pledge....really dig this show....had to pledge....

Billy London:

Nice one Will!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:51am
Polyus:

Agree with Micah re: political music, especially here - mostly you get country stars writing odes to GOP candidates.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:52am
Polyus:

Interesting first-person account of life at Zendik Farm, with several more ex-Farmers posting in the comments section: blog.purplearth.net...
