"Peter Piper" -  RUN DMC 18. "Scratcher Piper" - Loop Skywalker Track Description ------------------------- Track 1 features Loop Skywalker, ADA, and ALF. The idea of doing an intro for this mix was from the brilliant mind of Loop. Loop constructed the scratched drums and passed them to ALF who added the bass lines and violin samples. ALF then passed the track over to ADA who added the "Radio" concept scratches. Let's listen! Tracks 2 - 5 were mixed together by ALF who expressed the current state of the nation through scratched produced tracks. Tracks 6 - 12 were mixed together by ADA who once again used all vinyl this time mixing some classic scratch compositions from the late 90's to the early 2000's. Tracks 13 - 18 were mixed by Loop Skywalker who once again brings the banging raw battle style mixing made from scratch.  *   2:02:27 (Pop-up)

Of this piece Kimzilla sez, "Rebecca Anders is the subject of the interview. She is a founding member of the Flux foundation based out of Oakland California. Rebecca has worked on many large scale art projects n the past and this year she brings the Illumacanth, which is a metal representation of a primordial deep sea fish emerging from the ground with its toothy mouth agape, inviting participants to wanter inside and turn the flame effects on top of its head.
I had a chance to sit with Rebecca and discuss a variety of topics, including the reason why large scale projects which seem impossible to achieve under such challenging circumstances and why she chooses to keep coming back." - Note all the pics on playlist of the Playa are by Kimzilla

As noted by PTNOTR crew member Kimzilla notes, this is the fourteenth and final installment of Put The Needle On The on the WFMU 2015 series. Next week this show returns to its later and shorter one-hour weekly time slot at 7pm Fridays (NJ time). This week has a lot of exclusives - including interviews, freestyles, live sets, and premieres including brand new Paris, unreleased Foreign Legion, an outtake of Live Human in SF @ F8 from early summer broadcast of this show, and a show/season outro freestyle by regular guest BAS-One. Kimzilla was at Burning Man earlier this week with a recorder and got some behind the scenes/on da Playa chatter from longtime "burners." Meanwhile I was over in Oakland, CA at Hiero Day where I got a lil interview/freestyle with Kiwi and DJ Phatrick from Native Guns. Our man in Eire Ray Wingnut will present the first part of an engaging interview with unique Irish rapper Tommy K.D. I will have an indepth sit down interview with political rapper Paris whose new album "Pistol Politics" is being released today - this is part two of the interview that had part one 2 weeks ago. I also have an interview with 78 year young jazz musician and radio DJ Dick Conte who began his radio career back in 1962 and has beaten the odds by being consistently employed in radio (mostly freeform) since. The CT born/longtime CA resident talks about such things as jazz music, Cuba where he goes in few weeks for the first time since 1959, his long jazz radio career, and his life including such things as when he paid $48.26 a month for a Lower East Side sublet back in 1959 - a meaningful year for him. And best of all - there will be the final mix from the three talented turntablists of this Summer Series show - ALF, A D A, and Loop Skywalker - who will tag team for a final megamix with each throwing down about ten minutes each. TNX to all these guests and to U 4 listening
