- before everything (not just Music - but Music & Rock can be the canary in the coalmine if it matters to you & you notice) was a company owned by a larger company by a larger one
- & thus controlled exclusively by lawyers & beancounters
...Rawk Radio stations would do exactly that b k
- they would play not just the latest charting blah blah, or three highest charting songs by 20 acts like
Classic Rawk format does
...& thus there was Continuity in Rawk Culture &History - it was still a living & ongoing thing that had a Past connected to the Present, & had some deep-cut Depth...Rock Radio...it was a different world...
