Favoriting September 1, 2015: Wes Craven R.I.P.
Morricone Island pays film music tribute to horror film director Wes Craven who passed away at the age of 76 on Sunday, August 30th. Craven, best known as the man behind the Freddy Krueger and Ghostface masks as the creator of The Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream franchises as well as The Last House On The Left and The Hills Have Eyes films, worked with many of the greats, including James Horner, Charles Bernstein, Don Peake, Angelo Badalamenti, Harry Manfredini and Marco Beltrami.

I was in a band with the guy who did the voices the phone in SCREAM. Roger Jackson. We used to bug him to go try voice- over and he finally did...
